Frequently asked questions
Is Satzlang right for my level?
It’s most useful if you already know a few basics and want more reading practice. The sentence bank mainly covers beginner to upper-intermediate levels (A1–B2), with some advanced material. Your feedback adjusts the difficulty.
What makes the reading adaptive?
Choose Next after each sentence, or use Too easy or Too hard to guide the difficulty. Satzlang combines that feedback with the words you look up to adjust your reading estimate and choose the next sentence.
Do I need an account to start?
No, you can get started straight away.
Where do the sentences and explanations come from?
The sentences come from Tatoeba’s community-contributed collection, with source and licence credits in the reader. Word explanations, translations and audio use AI services. Explanations can make mistakes, so treat them as helpful guidance rather than a dictionary or a teacher.
